Kartell K-VIT Premium Soap Dish Holder – Brushed Brass (ACC336)

Kartell K-VIT Premium Soap Dish Holder – Brushed Brass (ACC336)

Premium is Kartell's range of brass bathroom accessories, with crisp square backplates and clean, modern lines, made in four finishes – chrome, matt black, brushed nickel and brushed brass – so the finishing touches can match the taps and shower in the rest of the room. This is the brushed brass version.

A wall-mounted soap dish with a square frosted dish held in a square holder, for a bar of soap beside the basin or bath.

Choosing and using it

The dish is 100 x 100mm and the whole unit is 40mm high, standing 110mm out from the wall. Because it is fixed to the wall rather than sitting on a ledge, water drains away from the soap rather than leaving it sitting in a puddle.

Also available in Chrome, Matt Black and Brushed Nickel.

Fitting

Fit it beside the basin or bath at a comfortable reach, close enough that drips from wet hands fall back into the basin rather than onto the floor.

Before drilling, make sure the fixings you use suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.

Looking after the finish

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and limescale removers, which can mark the finish.
