Kartell K-VIT Premium Tumbler Holder – Matt Black (ACC315)

Premium is Kartell's range of brass bathroom accessories, with crisp square backplates and clean, modern lines, made in four finishes – chrome, matt black, brushed nickel and brushed brass – so the finishing touches can match the taps and shower in the rest of the room. This is the matt black version.

A wall-mounted holder with a square frosted tumbler, for toothbrushes and toothpaste or a rinsing cup, keeping them off the basin edge.

Choosing and using it

The tumbler is 64mm square and the holder stands 95mm high and 92mm out from the wall. Getting toothbrushes off the basin top makes a bathroom look tidier and keeps it cleaner, as there is no puddle of water collecting underneath.

Fitting

Fit it beside or above the basin at a comfortable reach – usually around 1100–1200mm from the floor – and clear of the swing of any mirror cabinet door.

Before drilling, make sure the fixings you use suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.

Looking after the finish

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and limescale removers, which can mark the finish.
