Kartell K-VIT Singola 12V Electric Towel Rail – Matt Black (All Sizes)

Kartell K-VIT Singola 12V Electric Towel Rail – Matt Black (All Sizes)

Singola is a minimalist heated towel bar from Kartell: a single flat, square-edged rail that stands 100mm out from the wall, just like a stylish towel bar – except it gently warms your towel. This is the matt black version; it also comes in Chrome, Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel and Brushed Bronze.

Matt black gives a bold, modern look that pairs well with black taps and showers, and hides water marks better than a shiny finish.

Build your own set

The price shown is per rail. Use one on its own, or fit two or three above each other for a modern, ladder-style look – simply add the number you need to your basket. Each rail comes in three widths – 450mm, 500mm or 600mm – so choose your width from the dropdown.

Low-voltage 12V – transformer included

Singola runs at a low 12 volts and every rail comes with its own transformer, which converts your normal mains supply down to 12V. It uses very little power – just 17W to 23W depending on width. It has a dry heating element, so there is no water or oil inside to top up or leak.

Fitting

Each rail is a flat bar 40mm high and 20mm thick, standing 100mm out from the wall on two square arms at either end. Fixings are supplied. As with any electrical product in a bathroom, the transformer and connection must be wired in line with the UK wiring regulations, so we recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician. Full details are in the fitting instructions below.

Looking after the finish

Wipe over with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and strong bathroom cleaners, which can dull or mark a matt finish. Switch the rail off and let it cool before cleaning.
