The Kartell K-VIT SEA103D is the standard-material version of the Slim D wrapover seat. It has the same slim, low-profile shape as the premium SEA102D, but is moulded in polypropylene rather than duroplast — which makes it lighter and noticeably cheaper while keeping the modern look.

The soft close mechanism lowers the lid gently instead of letting it drop, and top fixing means it can be fitted from above without reaching behind or underneath the pan. Fixings are supplied.

Which Pans Does It Fit?

Kartell list this seat against the D-shaped pans, including the Ozone close coupled rimless pan (POT020OZ) and the Bijoux close coupled pan (BJX-PAN).

Please check before ordering: pans with a projection of 630mm or more need the longer SEA630D instead. Seat shapes are not interchangeable between Kartell ranges — the square Options pans take SEA600OP or SEA601OP, and the universal pans take SEA001UN or SEA002UN.

Which Slim D Seat Should You Choose?

• SEA103D — this seat, in polypropylene. The sensible choice for a rental, a second bathroom, or anywhere the seat gets light use.
• SEA102D — the same shape in duroplast. Heavier, more solid underfoot and better suited to a busy family bathroom. Worth the difference if the toilet is in daily use.
