The Kartell K-VIT Superslim D Seat is the lowest-profile D-shaped seat Kartell make. It uses a sandwich construction rather than a wrapover — the seat sits on top of the pan rim rather than wrapping over its edge, which gives a flatter, more minimal line where the seat meets the ceramic.

Moulded in duroplast for a slim profile and a solid feel, with soft close to stop the lid dropping and top fixing so it can be fitted from above.

Sandwich or Wrapover?

This is worth understanding before you order, because the two look quite different once fitted:

• A wrapover seat (SEA101D, SEA102D, SEA103D) covers the top edge of the pan, hiding the rim.
• A sandwich seat like this one sits on the rim, leaving a slim line of ceramic visible around the seat. It gives the flattest, most minimal profile.

Both fit the same D-shaped pans — it is a matter of the look you want.

Kartell offer this seat across the D-shaped pans including Kameo, Bijoux and Ozone Round, and it is available as an upgrade option on those pan pages.

Please check before ordering: pans with a projection of 630mm or more need the longer SEA630D instead.
