Kartell K-VIT Klassique Bath Shower Mixer Chrome (TAP106KL)

The Kartell K-VIT Klassique range is traditional styling done without fuss — crosshead handles on a rounded body, in polished chrome. This is the bath shower mixer: a deck-mounted bath tap with a diverter and a shower handset on a flexible hose.

What it does

It fills the bath like a normal bath filler, and the diverter sends water to the handset instead — so you can shower over the bath, rinse hair, or clean the bath without a separate shower installation.

If you already have a separate shower and only need to fill the bath, the Klassique bath filler costs less and looks tidier — which matters on a traditional tap, where a modern hose can undercut the period feel.

It's a substantial piece

At 4.02kg this is the heaviest tap in the Kartell brassware range — heavier than most freestanding mixers. That's solid brass rather than thin castings, and it's worth knowing your bath rim needs to take it. On a thin acrylic bath without a reinforcing plate, check the fixing arrangement before you commit.

Before you order

Bath taps use 3/4" BSP connections, larger than the 1/2" on basin taps.

The waste is sold separately.

Suitable for low pressure systems. Being straight: on gravity-fed plumbing the handset will be a gentle spray rather than a powerful shower. That's your water pressure, not the tap — and the older properties this style suits are often the ones affected. If you want a proper shower over the bath, you need a pump.
