Kartell K-VIT Kolt Bath Filler Brushed Nickel (TAP334KBN)

The Kartell K-VIT Kolt range pairs an angular tap body with a right-angle spout. This is the bath filler in brushed nickel: a deck-mounted tap that sits on the rim of the bath and fills it, with no shower function.

Bath filler or bath shower mixer?

A bath filler (this one) just fills the bath. Choose it where you have a separate shower, or no shower over the bath at all — it looks tidier without a hose trailing over the rim.

A bath shower mixer adds a diverter and a handset. If you need to shower over the bath, pick that instead.

Before you order

Bath fillers use 3/4" BSP connections — larger than the 1/2" on basin taps — so check your existing tails.

The waste is sold separately, and on a nickel bath tap you'll want a matching brushed nickel bath waste and overflow rather than the chrome default. Kartell make one.

It needs only 0.2 bar, so it works on gravity-fed plumbing — though on low pressure any bath tap fills slowly. That's the system, not the tap.

Why brushed nickel

A softer, warmer grey than chrome without the mirror shine. On a bath tap, which sits in the splash zone, the brushed surface is also more forgiving of water marks than polished chrome.

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasives and limescale remover.

Matching the rest of the room

Kolt is made in brushed nickel, polished chrome, matt black and brushed brass. Kartell's KV8 wetroom screens are available in brushed nickel too, so the metalwork can carry across brassware and glass.
