Kartell K-VIT Kolt Bath Shower Mixer Brushed Nickel (TAP335KBN)

The Kartell K-VIT Kolt range pairs an angular tap body with a right-angle spout. This is the bath shower mixer in brushed nickel: a deck-mounted bath tap with a built-in diverter and a shower handset on a flexible hose.

What it does

It fills the bath like a normal bath filler, and the diverter sends water to the handset instead — so you can shower over the bath, rinse hair, or clean the bath itself without a separate shower installation.

If you already have a separate shower and only need to fill the bath, the Kolt bath filler costs less and looks tidier without the hose.

Before you order

Bath taps use 3/4" BSP connections, larger than the 1/2" on basin taps.

The waste is sold separately — and you'll want a matching brushed nickel one.

It needs only 0.2 bar to operate. Being straight about what that means: on gravity-fed plumbing the tap works, but the handset will be a gentle spray rather than a powerful one. That's your water pressure, not the tap. If you want a proper shower over the bath on low pressure, you need a pump.

Why brushed nickel

A softer, warmer grey than chrome without the mirror shine. The brushed surface hides water marks better than chrome, which helps on a tap that gets splashed constantly.

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasives and limescale remover, which will damage the finish.

Matching the rest of the room

Kolt is made in brushed nickel, polished chrome, matt black and brushed brass. Kartell's KV8 wetroom screens come in brushed nickel too — though note the decorative edge trim isn't made in that finish.
