Sold by the box – 7 tiles per box, covering around 1.26m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £38.25 per m² (£6.89 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Glossy black brickwork on a large porcelain tile. The brick pattern is printed across each 300x600mm face with a slightly aged, hand-glazed character, so the light picks out each brick separately and the wall never looks like one flat sheet of black.

It suits a dramatic shower wall, a kitchen splashback under pale worktops or a cloakroom where a small space can take a dark tile. Seven tiles in a box cover 1.26m². The black squares tile from the same range mixes in as a border or inset.

Porcelain, for indoor walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and living rooms. Gloss black on a floor shows dust and footprints quickly, so most people keep it to walls. It is on limited stock, so work out the full quantity including cuts and order it together.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.26 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a cementitious adhesive and full coverage behind each tile; on floors use a flexible floor adhesive with no hollows. Keep joints at 2 to 3mm and use a black or dark grey grout so the printed bricks run through uninterrupted. Blend tiles from several boxes.
