A vivid turquoise, the brightest colour in the range, with a shiny glaze that makes it almost glow. The surfaces and edges are deliberately imperfect, giving the tile a weathered, vintage character that takes the edge off such a strong colour. Tones vary from piece to piece.

Use it where a shot of colour is wanted: a kitchen splashback, the back wall of a shower, a strip behind a bathroom basin or a panel in a hallway. The 240x60mm brick lays in half-bond, stacked or herringbone patterns.

Porcelain throughout, so it can be laid on indoor floors as well as walls, and the gloss face cleans easily with a damp cloth and no sealing. Supplied in boxes of 36 tiles, covering roughly 0.52m² a box, and sold as full boxes only.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.52 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Porcelain is dense, so use a flexible adhesive rather than a standard ready-mixed paste, and fix floor tiles on a full bed. Grout joints of 2 to 3mm suit the brick size. Lay out a few square metres dry first to check how the varied shades balance.
