Sold by the box – 36 tiles per box, covering around 0.52m². Each 240x60mm tile is 0.0144m², so a box works out at roughly £54.04 per m² (£0.78 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A bright, clean white brick with a glassy gloss surface and softly rounded edges. The glaze bounces natural light back into the room, which is useful in a small bathroom or a kitchen with one window. Look closely and there is slight variation from tile to tile, so a wall of them has a little life in it.

The 240x60mm size is a classic metro proportion. Lay it in a half-bond for a traditional look, stack it in straight columns for something plainer, or set it in a herringbone to make a feature of a splashback or shower wall.

Being porcelain, it is approved for floors as well as walls, so a small shower room floor can match its walls. The gloss surface wipes clean and does not need sealing. It comes in boxes of 36 tiles, roughly 0.52m² per box, and full boxes only.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.52 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Lay on a flexible porcelain adhesive, back-buttering floor tiles so the bed is solid. Allow a 2mm to 3mm joint and use a grout colour that sits close to the glaze or deliberately contrasts. Blend tiles from several boxes to spread the colour variation.
