Naturepanel Grained Angora Grey Shiplap is an understated grey with a soft grain, laid as five wide boards – modern and calm. It is a 100% waterproof, grout-free wall panel from Naturepanel by Grant Westfield, the makers of Multipanel – giving the warmth of real timber in bathrooms, showers and kitchens without any of the upkeep.

Wood Slat or Shiplap?

Shiplap panels have 5 wide boards per panel, giving a classic tongue-and-groove plank look. Both styles come in the same seven decors and fit together with the same Hydrolock joint and profiles.

How to work out how many panels you need

Each panel is 598mm wide. Once the Hydrolock joints are locked together, each panel covers about 580mm of wall. Measure the width of each wall, divide by 580 and round up. For example, a 1200mm wall needs 3 panels (1200 ÷ 580 = 2.07, rounded up to 3). Allow a little extra if a wall has a window or boxing to cut around.

Fitting

• Fix with High Grab Panel Adhesive & Sealant – choose the sealant colour closest to your panel
• Seal every edge and every joint with silicone sealant for a fully watertight finish
• Finish corners and edges with profiles: Type C end cap for open edges, Type 100 flush corner, Type 101 invisible corner, and Type 102 angle profile – available in brushed brass, satin anodised, matt black and gloss white
• Store panels flat (not on edge) and leave them in the room at normal temperature for 48 hours before fitting
• We recommend panels are fitted by a professional installer

Common reasons for returns

• Ordering too few panels – remember each panel covers about 580mm once joined
• Not allowing for profiles, adhesive and sealant – these are sold separately
• Panels damaged by being stored on edge or in a cold garage – store flat, indoors

Care

Clean with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Do not use scouring powders or abrasive pads.
