Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £42.92 per m² (£30.90 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

For a large bathroom floor or a full-height shower wall, this 600x1200mm ivory tile gives the limestone look with very few joints. The soft beige base and delicate speckled pattern read as a continuous slab of stone once the tiles are down.

Two tiles come in a box, covering 1.44m². The long format works stacked vertically on a wall or staggered on a floor. Use it with the smaller ivory sizes in the range for a border or a shower floor in the same stone.

The manufacturer describes the porcelain as durable, low maintenance and water resistant, and lists it for walls and floors including bathrooms. Unlike natural limestone it does not need sealing. Carry the same ivory onto the floor with the 300x600mm anti-slip in the shower area.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

A 1200mm tile shows any hollows in the substrate, so make sure the wall or floor is flat before you start. Back-butter each tile and use a flexible porcelain adhesive for a full bed. A levelling clip system keeps the surface flush. Joints of 2-3mm with an ivory grout keep the stone look continuous.
