Sold by the box – 10 tiles per box, covering around 1.80m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £42.94 per m² (£7.73 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Mid grey with a soft stone surface and a satin sheen. It is a cooler tone than the greige and sits well with white sanitaryware, chrome and black fittings. The semi-polished face reflects a little light, which keeps a grey bathroom from feeling dim, and the markings vary from tile to tile.

Wall tiles at 300x600mm go up fast and give few grout lines. In a bathroom it suits the full height of a shower or the walls around a bath; in a kitchen it makes a plain splashback behind the hob. Hallways and living areas can use it as a feature wall.

It is a ceramic tile and is suitable for walls only, not floors. Ten per box, 1.80m² coverage. The same grey is made as a 600x600mm porcelain floor tile and a brick-relief decor for walls.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.80 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

A wall tile only, so keep it off floors. Fix to a flat, dry wall with a flexible ceramic wall adhesive and a 2 to 3mm joint. Set out from a level batten. Where the decor runs alongside the plain tile, lay both from the same start line so the courses match.
