The Pressalit Dania raised toilet seat lifts the sitting height of an existing toilet by 50 mm or 100 mm, making it less of an effort to sit down and stand up. It is an inexpensive way to adapt a toilet to a user's needs without changing the pan, and keeps the stable, ergonomic Dania shape used across Pressalit's care range.
Every raised Dania is mounted on a raised, extra strong cross-bar hinge and has stabilising buffers so the seat stays put on the pan. The 50 mm versions come with or without a cover, and with cover you can choose a version that includes a splash guard. Both 100 mm versions include a splash guard as standard.

How to choose your raised seat
50 mm or 100 mm? Choose the raise that brings the seat to a comfortable height for the user – measure from floor to the top of the current seat and add 50 or 100 mm.
Cover? A cover adds back support; without a cover the seat is quicker to clean.
Splash guard: because the seat sits above the pan rim, a splash guard helps keep urine inside the bowl. It is included on the 100 mm seats and on the 50 mm R43000. If you need a permanent height change for several users, a SELECT toilet lifter may be the better long-term option.

Frequently asked questions
Will a raised seat fit my toilet?
It fits most standard pans with hole centres between 90 and 155 mm. Call us on 0333 772 4162 if you would like us to check your toilet.
Do I need the splash guard?
It is recommended because the raised seat leaves a gap above the rim. The 100 mm seats always include one; for 50 mm choose R43000 if you want it included.
What is the maximum user weight?
The raised Dania seats have a nominal maximum load of 150 kg.
How should the seat be cleaned?
Use a mild soap solution and keep the seat and hinges dry. For disinfection Pressalit allows 85% ethanol, followed by a wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive, corrosive or chlorine-based cleaners.
