Pressalit Dania Toilet Seat – With or Without Cover, Open Front Option, Choice of Hinge & Colour (R27 / R28 / R37 / R38)

Pressalit Dania Toilet Seat – With or Without Cover, Open Front Option, Choice of Hinge & Colour (R27 / R28 / R37 / R38)

The Pressalit Dania is a care toilet seat built for stability and safe transfers. Stabilising buffers under the seat stop it shifting sideways on the pan, and support lugs add security when the user moves on and off from the side. The seat is fairly flat, so sideways transfers from a wheelchair are easier, and on cover models the raised cover gives useful back support.

Choose with or without a cover, with a closed or open front, with Pressalit's extra strong cross-bar hinge (D92) or the universal hinge (B83), and in white, anthracite or red. Dania fits a wide range of toilets, including Pressalit's own wall-hung pans R2098 and R2099, and is made from hard-wearing, colour-ingrained duroplast.

How to choose your Dania seat

Cover or no cover? A cover gives back support and a tidy look; a seat without a cover is quicker to clean and suits busy care settings.

Closed or open front? The open front (75 mm opening) makes hygiene and carer assistance easier. Open-front versions come in white with the cross-bar hinge.

Which hinge? The D92 cross-bar hinge is Pressalit's extra strong option for institutional use and fits hole centres of 127–187 mm. The B83 universal hinge suits hole centres of 120–170 mm. If you want a red or anthracite seat, choose the cross-bar hinge.

Colour: red and anthracite create a clear, high-contrast look against a white pan, so the seat is easy to locate at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my toilet?

Dania fits most standard pans. Check your hole centres: 127–187 mm for the cross-bar hinge or 120–170 mm for the universal hinge. Call us on 0333 772 4162 if you would like us to check.

What is the difference between the hinges?

The D92 cross-bar hinge joins both sides with a bar and uses 100 mm bolts – it is Pressalit's extra strong option. The B83 universal hinge uses separate 75 mm bolts and suits most domestic installations.

Why choose a coloured seat?

A red or anthracite seat stands out clearly against a white pan, making the toilet easy to locate at a glance.

How should the seat be cleaned?

Use a mild soap solution and keep the seat and hinges dry. For disinfection Pressalit allows 85% ethanol, followed by a wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive, corrosive or chlorine-based cleaners.
