Description
Pressalit Ergosit Toilet Seat – Standard Height or 50 mm Raised (R20 / R29)
The Pressalit Ergosit is a care toilet seat with a larger, ergonomically shaped seating area – 432 mm wide – that spreads the user's weight and gives a secure, comfortable sitting position. Like the rest of Pressalit's care seats, it has stabilising buffers so it stays steady on the pan during transfers.
Choose the standard-height Ergosit without cover on Pressalit's extra strong cross-bar hinge, or the Ergosit with cover raised by 50 mm on a raised cross-bar hinge for users who need a little extra height when sitting down and standing up.
Key features & benefits
- Wide, ergonomically shaped seat (432 mm) with a smaller 205 × 300 mm opening for secure support
- Stabilising buffers keep the seat steady on the pan
- Standard version on the extra strong cross-bar hinge (D92)
- Raised version lifts the seat by 50 mm on a raised cross-bar hinge and includes a cover
- Hard-wearing white duroplast that is easy to keep clean
- 10-year Pressalit warranty
How to choose
Standard or raised? Choose the standard Ergosit (R29000-D92999) when the toilet is already at a suitable height. Choose the 50 mm raised Ergosit with cover (R20000) when the user needs the seat a little higher to sit and stand more easily.
Ergosit or Dania? Ergosit has a wider seat and a smaller opening, giving more contact area for users who need extra support. Dania offers more choice of colours, covers and hinges.

Frequently asked questions
Does the standard Ergosit have a cover?
No – R29000-D92999 is supplied without a cover. The 50 mm raised Ergosit R20000 has a cover.
Will it fit my toilet?
Check your hole centres: 127–187 mm for the standard seat or 90–155 mm for the raised seat. Call us on 0333 772 4162 if you would like us to check.
How should the seat be cleaned?
Use a mild soap solution and keep the seat and hinges dry. For disinfection Pressalit allows 85% ethanol, followed by a wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive, corrosive or chlorine-based cleaners.
