Pressalit INDIVO Safety System – Safety Bars, Safety Plates & Safety Interconnections, Choice of Part (RK1390)
The INDIVO safety system protects the space under and around a moving worktop or wall cupboard. Safety bars fit beneath INDIVO worktop lifts and safety plates fit beneath INDIVO wall cupboard lifts; if either meets an obstruction, the movement stops. Where several INDIVO lifts work together in one kitchen, a safety interconnection links them so that the safety system covers every lift, helping to prevent pinching when lifts adjust at the same time.
These parts are used in accessible kitchens in homes, group homes, care centres and school kitchens, and are ordered to match the size and combination of INDIVO lifts installed.

- Safety bars – for INDIVO worktop lifts in five length bands from up to 1000 mm to 2401–3000 mm, plus a side bar for worktop ends up to 700 mm.
- Safety plates – for INDIVO wall cupboard lifts, 400–1200 mm or 1201–2400 mm.
- Safety interconnections – link two or more INDIVO lifts so the safety system works across the whole kitchen.
- Works with INDIVO switches – versions for circular or oval fascia switches where specified.
- Ordered separately – so you only buy the parts your layout needs.
Choosing the right part
Safety bars: choose the length band that matches your INDIVO worktop lift, and add a side bar for each exposed worktop end. Safety plates: match the length of your wall cupboard lift (RK1420 up to 1200 mm, RK1421 1201–2400 mm). Interconnections: choose the version that matches the combination of lifts in your kitchen – RK141x is the two-actuator worktop lift, RK145x the three-actuator worktop lift and RK142x the wall cupboard lift. For example, two worktop lifts side by side use RK1372.
- Safety bars and safety plates are ordered separately from the interconnection.
