Description
Pressalit MCT 2 Change Trolley – Battery Powered Height Adjustment, 1700 or 2100 mm (R9452)
The Pressalit MCT 2 is a mobile, battery-powered change trolley for changing adults and children lying down. Because it runs on a rechargeable battery, it can be wheeled to wherever care is needed and raised or lowered without a nearby socket – ideal for hospitals, care homes, schools and Changing Places toilets.
Two fold-down sides give the carer easy access, a central brake locks all four wheels with one step, and a storage drawer and wire basket keep supplies at hand. Pressalit designs the MCT 2 for schools, institutions, hospitals and private homes.
Key features & benefits
- Battery-powered height adjustment – Linak BAL50 lithium-ion battery with a wall-mountable charger that can sit outside the bathroom; a beep warns of low battery.
- Central brake – step on any one pedal to lock all four wheels; non-slip foot pedals for brake and release.
- Corner bumpers – rotating bumpers on every corner protect walls and the trolley.
- Storage – storage drawer and wire basket included.
- One-hand drop-down rails – ergonomic rails with a lowered central section make transfers, changing and dressing easier, and let the carer keep eye and physical contact with the user.
- Cut-out grips – grips in the rails let users help when being turned, supporting independent movement.
- Mobile – moves easily from room to room and can be shared by several users.
- Hygienic – smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces that do not collect dirt and bacteria.
Choosing the right option
Choose the lying surface length: 700 x 1700mm for children and smaller users, or 700 x 2100mm for adults.
- Mattress sold separately – order the Pressalit navy blue MCT mattress (695 x 1680mm or 695 x 2080mm).
- A spare BAL50 battery and an extra wire basket are available.
- Need showering as well as changing? See the MSCT 1 shower change trolley.
