The Pressalit PLUS fixed height backrest fixes straight to the wall behind a wall-mounted toilet without a cistern, or beside a shower seat, to give comfortable, secure back support while seated. It is a simple, robust choice for accessible bathrooms, Changing Places toilets, care homes, hospitals and schools where the backrest can stay at one height. It can also be mounted on one of Pressalit's toilet lifters.
Two widths are available: the 385 mm backrest for toilets, and the narrower 293 mm backrest designed to pair with the PLUS fixed height shower seats (R7304 and R7404). Both come in five colours.

Which width? Choose 385 mm for a standard back support behind a toilet. Choose 293 mm when pairing the backrest with a PLUS fixed height shower seat, or where space behind the toilet is tighter.

Can it be fitted to a toilet lifter?
Pressalit states the fixed height backrest can also be mounted on one of its toilet lifters. For SELECT lifters there is also a dedicated backrest with a fixing kit included.
How do I clean it?
Use hot water or a mild soapy cleaner and wipe down with a cloth wrung out in clean water. Avoid chlorine-based, corrosive or abrasive products.
