This Pressalit PLUS backrest is made to mount directly on a Pressalit SELECT TL1, TL2, TL3 or TL4 toilet lifter, so the back support travels with the lifter and stays in the right place behind the user. It gives comfortable, secure back support on a toilet without a cistern and is ideal for accessible bathrooms, Changing Places toilets, care homes and schools that already use – or are fitting – a SELECT toilet lifter.

Choose the removable version, which lifts off and refits without tools, or the fixed version that stays permanently in place. The fixing kit for the toilet lifter is included with both.

Removable or fixed? Choose the removable backrest where the toilet is shared and the backrest is only needed by some users – it can be taken off and stored. Choose the fixed version where a backrest is always wanted.

Yes – both versions come with the kit for mounting on the toilet lifter.

How do I clean it?

Pressalit recommends hot water or a mild soapy cleaner, then wiping with a cloth wrung out in clean water. Avoid chlorine-based, corrosive or abrasive products.
