The Pressalit PLUS adjustable backrest hangs on a horizontal PLUS wall track behind a wall-mounted toilet without a cistern, or beside a PLUS shower seat, to give comfortable, secure back support while seated. Because it sits on the track, it can be slid sideways to line up with the toilet or seat – and the height and sideways adjustable version can also be raised or lowered by 150 mm to suit different users.

It is designed for accessible bathrooms, Changing Places toilets, care homes, hospitals and school hygiene rooms, where one backrest has to work for many people. Both versions lift off the track and refit without tools, so the backrest can be moved aside when it is not needed or taken away for cleaning.

Buying guide

Sideways or height & sideways? If the backrest will be used by people of different heights – for example in a Changing Places toilet or a shared care bathroom – the height and sideways adjustable version (R6444) lets carers set the pad at the right height each time. If the height can be fixed at installation, the sideways adjustable version (R6414) is the simpler choice.

Which colour? Anthracite and White are standard colours. Red, Dark Blue and Lime Green are special colours that give a strong visual contrast against the wall, and they are priced slightly higher.
