Pressalit PLUS Folding Seat 320 mm – Fixed or Height Adjustable, Wall or Track Mounted, Anthracite or White (R5500 / R5510 / R5520)

Pressalit PLUS Folding Seat 320 mm – Fixed or Height Adjustable, Wall or Track Mounted, Anthracite or White (R5500 / R5510 / R5520)

The Pressalit PLUS folding seat is a compact 320 mm wall-mounted seat that gives somewhere to sit exactly where it is needed – in kitchens, lifts, corridors, landings and bathrooms – and folds flat against the wall when not in use. It stays up by itself when folded, freeing the space for wheelchairs, walking frames and passers-by.

Choose a fixed height seat, a seat that adjusts 240 mm in height on its own wall-mounted track, or a height adjustable seat for retro-fitting to an existing vertical PLUS wall track – each in Anthracite or White.

Key features & benefits

• Folds away – lifts up against the wall and stays up on its own, saving space in corridors and small rooms.
• Three versions – fixed height (R5510), 240 mm manually height adjustable wall-mounted (R5520), or 240 mm height adjustable for a vertical PLUS wall track (R5500).
• Comfortable, ergonomic seat – shaped 320 mm thermoset plastic seat that supports well.
• Strong – fixed height seat rated to 262 kg on a standard wall (up to 435 kg on a reinforced wall); height adjustable seats rated to 265 kg.
• Durable materials – anodised aluminium mounting and suspension bracket with ABS end caps; expected service life 10 years.
• Two colours – Anthracite or White to suit the interior.

Buying guide

Which version? Choose the fixed height seat (R5510) where one seat height suits everyone. Choose a height adjustable seat where different users share the seat: R5520 comes with its own anthracite vertical track cover plate and mounts straight to the wall, while R5500 is designed to retro-fit onto a vertical PLUS wall track that is already installed (track not included).

Where can it be used? Pressalit designs the folding seat for extra seating where space is limited, such as kitchens, lifts, corridors and landings. It is intended for independent use and is not suitable for use in the shower area – for showering, see our Pressalit PLUS shower seats.

What else you need: the mounting kit is not included – choose Pressalit fixings to suit your wall. Call us on 0333 772 4162 for help.
