The Pressalit PLUS height adjustable shower seat fixes directly to the wall (or to a PLUS wall track) and can be raised or lowered to suit the person using it. It is a fold-up seat for showering in care homes, hospitals, schools and accessible bathrooms at home, giving a comfortable, stable seat that folds away to leave the shower area clear for standing users or carers.

Choose from five models: an electrically height adjustable 450 mm seat with back and armrests, three manually adjustable 450 mm seats (with back and armrests, with backrest only, or seat only) and a 310 mm seat with back and armrests for children and smaller adults. The 450 mm models are also available with an aperture in the seat, and every seat comes in five colours.

• Strong – maximum user weight 200 kg on the manual seats and 150 kg on the electric seat; armrests take up to 55 kg.
• Five colours – Anthracite and White as standard, plus Red, Dark Blue and Lime Green special colours (aperture seats in Anthracite or White).

Buying guide – choosing your seat

Electric or manual? The electric 450 mm seat lets a carer change the height while the user is seated – ideal where the seat is used by many people. Manual seats need no power supply.

How much support? Back and armrests give the most support; the backrest-only seat is for settings where armrests are not needed (and has the largest range, 380 mm); the seat-only version (240 mm range) is the simplest and most compact.

450 mm or 310 mm? The 450 mm seat (450 x 437 mm surface) is the adult size. The 310 mm seat (310 x 365 mm) is for children and small adults.

What else you need: the mounting kit is not included – choose the Pressalit mounting kit that suits your wall type, or fit the seat to a PLUS wall track (sold separately). Are the wall fixings included?

Can I fit this seat to a wall track?

Yes, Pressalit states these seats are suitable for wall mounting or for PLUS wall tracks.

Does the seat fold away?

Yes, every model folds up against the wall when not in use.

How should the seat be cleaned?

Use hot water or a mild soap solution and wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid chlorine-based, corrosive or abrasive cleaners.
