The most flexible arm in the Pressalit PLUS range. This counter-balanced support arm hooks onto a horizontal PLUS wall track, so it can be slid sideways to exactly where the user needs it and adjusted up or down by 240 mm – all without tools. It gives firm support when sitting down on, or getting up from, the toilet and when making a side transfer from a wheelchair.

Because the arm lifts off the track, it can be moved between the toilet and the shower, or shared between rooms – ideal for care homes, hospitals and Changing Places toilets.

How to choose

Length: the 700 mm arm has a total projection of 770 mm from the wall and suits standard toilet pans projecting around 540–550 mm. The 850 mm arm projects 920 mm and suits longer pans, such as 700 mm projection accessible toilets. The arm should finish just beyond the front of the pan so the user can push up from it.

Hand: right and left hand operated versions are the same price. Choose the version that suits the side of the toilet the arm is fitted on and the hand the user or carer will use to operate it. Left hand operated versions can take a little longer to arrive.

Colour: White and Anthracite Grey are the standard colours. Red, Dark Blue and Lime Green are special colours that cost a little more and take longer to make, and their high-contrast finish makes the arm stand out clearly against a pale wall.

What else you need: this arm must be hung on a horizontal Pressalit PLUS wall track, which is not included. Wall fixings for the track depend on your wall type. Most installations use a pair of arms, one each side of the toilet.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wall track included?

No. This arm hangs on a horizontal PLUS wall track, which is sold separately. If you already have a PLUS horizontal track fitted, the arm simply hooks on.

Can the arm be moved to the shower?

Yes. It lifts off the track without tools, so it can be slid along the track or moved to another track position, for example from the toilet to a shower seat.

What is the difference between 700 mm and 850 mm?

The 850 mm arm reaches further forward (920 mm total projection against 770 mm). Match it to the projection of your toilet pan.
