The Pressalit SCT 1000 is a wall-mounted, powered shower and changing table that gives carers a stable, comfortable platform for showering or changing adults and children lying down. The user lies flat on a warm, phthalate-free PVC canvas surface while the carer raises or lowers the table to a comfortable working height with the wired hand control.

Pressalit designs the SCT 1000 for schools, hospitals, institutions and private homes. When it is not in use, integrated gas cylinders let the table fold up against the wall, freeing floor space in a hygiene room, wet room or accessible bathroom.

Choosing the right option

Choose the length to suit the users and the space: the 1400mm table (lying surface 600 x 1400mm) suits children and smaller rooms, while the 1800mm table (lying surface 600 x 1800mm) gives full-length support for adults.

• Mounting kit is not included – Pressalit specifies the correct kit for each wall type in the technical datasheet. The wall must be able to carry the loads shown in Pressalit's load-bearing recommendation.
• Splash curtain – an optional SCT 1000 splash curtain (1400mm or 1800mm) protects the carer's legs from water.
• Remote controls – a wireless remote, installation kit and replacement wired remote are available separately.
• Spares – replacement PVC canvas and Pressalit change table gas spring kits are available.
• A 230V electrical supply is needed for the motor; installation should be carried out by a competent installer.

Does it come with fixings?

No – the mounting kit is ordered separately because the correct fixings depend on your wall construction. Pressalit's technical datasheet lists the kit for each wall type.

What is the difference between the 1400mm and 1800mm tables?

Only the length: the 1400mm table has a 600 x 1400mm lying surface and the 1800mm table a 600 x 1800mm lying surface. Height range and maximum user weight are the same.

Can the table be folded away?

Yes. Integrated gas cylinders let the table fold up against the wall when not in use.
