The Pressalit SELECT TL1 is a wall-mounted toilet lifter that raises and lowers a wall-hung toilet so each user can sit at the height that suits them. Adjusting the toilet height makes sitting down and standing up easier, supports different transfer techniques and reduces the physical strain on carers. It is designed for private homes, care homes, hospitals and other care settings, and can be used by both seated and standing users.

Choose the manual version, which gives 300 mm of travel (425–725 mm) with a crank handle, or the electric version, which gives 400 mm of travel (425–825 mm) with a wired hand control that the user or carer can operate while seated. Both are available for floor or wall outlet drainage and with a white or anthracite front cover plate. Every TL1 is supplied with a built-in cistern with a dual flush preset to 3/6 litres.

How to choose your SELECT lifter

Manual or electric? The manual TL1 suits rooms where the height is set occasionally, for example when a room is shared by a small number of regular users. The electric TL1 is the better choice where the height changes often or the user wants to adjust it independently from the toilet seat.

Floor or wall outlet? Pick the version that matches the soil pipe position in the room. If you are unsure, our team can check your drawings.

What else you need: a wall-hung toilet pan, a toilet seat and a mounting kit suitable for your wall type are not included. TL1 has a narrow 555 mm front panel; if you want to fit Pressalit PLUS support arms directly onto the lifter, look at the SELECT TL2, which has wide side profiles for that purpose.

Frequently asked questions

Is a mounting kit included?

No. The wall mounting kit is not included because the right fixings depend on your wall construction. Pressalit's technical datasheet lists suitable kits for different wall types – call us on 0333 772 4162 and we will help you pick the correct one.

Does it come with a toilet pan and seat?

No. The lifter includes the cistern with dual flush, but the wall-hung toilet pan and the toilet seat are ordered separately. Pressalit's own wall-hung toilets (540 mm or 700 mm projection) and Dania care seats are good matches and are available from us.

Can the electric TL1 be adjusted while someone is sitting on the toilet?

Yes. The wired hand control adjusts the height across the full 400 mm range with the user seated.

What is the difference between TL1 and TL2?

They share the same lifting mechanism and height ranges. TL2 has a wider front with integral side profiles, so Pressalit PLUS support arms can be mounted straight onto the lifter instead of onto the wall.
