Description
Pressalit VALUE IV Folding Shower Seat – Fixed Height, With or Without Support Leg, Anthracite (R1620 / R1622)
The Pressalit VALUE IV folding shower seat is a robust, space-saving seat for showering in accessible bathrooms, care homes, hospitals and en-suites. It fixes to the wall at a set height, folds down when needed and folds up out of the way when not in use, leaving the shower area clear for standing users and carers.
Choose the standard wall-mounted seat, or the version with a front support leg for extra stability on the floor. Both have an anthracite grey seat on a white Rilsan-coated stainless steel frame.
Key features & benefits
- Folds up and down – space-efficient design that folds against the wall when not needed.
- 650 mm projection – a deep seat that gives good room for side transfers.
- With or without support leg – the support leg version adds a front leg down to the floor.
- Draining anti-slip pattern – the seat pattern drains water in both the folded and lowered positions.
- Centred seating – the seat curves slightly towards the middle to help the user sit centrally.
- Removable for cleaning – the seat can be removed for thorough cleaning.
- Strong and durable – maximum user weight 135 kg; diecast aluminium wall profile and Rilsan-coated stainless steel frame; expected service life 10 years.
Buying guide
With or without support leg? The standard seat (R1620000112) is fully wall-mounted, leaving the floor clear. The support leg version (R1622000112) adds a leg at the front edge that rests on the floor for extra stability.
Add a backrest: the matching Pressalit VALUE IV fixed height backrest (R1661000112) is designed to go with this seat and is sold separately.
What else you need: fixing bolts for brick walls are included. Wall plugs depend on your wall type and are ordered separately – call us on 0333 772 4162 if you need help choosing fixings. For an adjustable seat, see the Pressalit PLUS shower seat range.
