Sold by the box – 115 tiles per box, covering around 1.00m². Each 93x93mm tile is 0.0087m², so a box works out at roughly £124.40 per m² (£1.08 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A softer take on the Victorian floor. The plain beige 93x93mm porcelain tile has a warm, sandy tone and a matt surface, so a beige and black chequerboard looks gentler than black and white, and a plain beige field gives a period hall a calm, stone-like floor.

Supplied loose in boxes of 115 tiles, one box to the square metre. Lay it alone, alternate it with black or red for a traditional two-colour pattern, or use it as the ground for the silver grey decorative inset. The small square format follows the shape of a hallway with few awkward cuts.

Porcelain and matt, for indoor floors in hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories and living rooms. The Sag Harbor black & red and black & white border sheets give the floor a proper edge, and the silver grey inset from the same range drops in as a feature.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.00 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a flexible cementitious adhesive spread with a fine-notched trowel on a flat, sound base. Set out from the centre line so the cuts at each wall match, keep 2 to 3mm joints with spacers and grout with a flexible grout in a shade close to the tile so the joints do not dominate the small format.
