Stone Harbor Black Floral Matt Porcelain Hexagon Wall & Floor Tile 230x270mm (Per Box of 16 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 16 tiles per box, covering around 0.73m². Each 230x270mm tile is 0.0458m², so a box works out at roughly £53.97 per m² (£2.46 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A hexagon tile printed with leaves and flowers in muted, on-trend shades against a deep black ground. Each 230x270mm hexagon carries a different part of the design, so laid together they build up a loose botanical pattern with the black holding it together.

Sixteen tiles per box cover about 0.73m². The hexagon shape suits a bathroom floor, a kitchen splashback or a feature panel behind a vanity, and the pattern lets it run into a plain tile with a stepped edge. Mixed with the white version it becomes a two-tone layout.

Matt porcelain for walls and floors indoors. The print is fired in, so it will not wear off a floor, and the matt surface hides footprints and marks. Porcelain is dense and does not absorb water, which makes it suitable for a bathroom floor or shower wall.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.73 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a flexible porcelain adhesive on a flat base, solid-bedding on floors. Hexagons need careful setting out: dry-lay a row first and work from a centre line. Use a 2 to 3mm joint; a black or charcoal grout keeps the pattern continuous. Open all boxes and mix as you lay.

Black is the darker ground for the Stone Harbor floral hexagon; the same print also comes on white, both in matt porcelain at 230x270mm, so the two can be laid separately or combined in a single layout. See every Stone Harbor tile.
