Sold by the box – 25 tiles per box, covering around 0.25m². Each 70x140mm tile is 0.01m², so a box works out at roughly £60.40 per m² (£0.60 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Jet black under a gloss glaze, in a 70x140mm brick with a gently rippled, hand-finished look. The shine stops a black wall from feeling heavy: it picks up reflections from windows and lights, and each tile catches them a little differently because the surface is not perfectly flat.

Twenty-five tiles make 0.25m² a box. Use it for a dramatic splashback, a shower enclosure against white walls, or a chequerboard with the white brick from the same range. In a stacked bond with a dark grout it reads as one dark surface; with white grout it becomes a grid.

A glazed ceramic wall tile for indoor use. It is light, cuts easily on a hand cutter and cleans with a damp cloth; the gloss means water spots and smears show, so it suits walls you can wipe down. Tone and shine vary slightly across tiles as part of the handmade effect.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.25 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a standard wall adhesive on a flat, dry wall with a small notched trowel. Plan the layout so cuts fall at the edges and corners. Joints of 2 to 3mm with a black or charcoal grout keep the look solid. Lay from several boxes and clean grout residue off the gloss before it hardens.
