Sold by the box – 25 tiles per box, covering around 0.25m². Each 70x140mm tile is 0.01m², so a box works out at roughly £60.40 per m² (£0.60 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The palest of the four blues: a soft, slightly greyed nordic blue with a gloss glaze and the gently uneven face of a handmade tile. On a wall it is calm and cool, closer to a tinted white than a strong colour, and it suits bathrooms that want a hint of blue without going bold.

The 70x140mm brick comes 25 to a box, covering 0.25m². Lay it stacked for a clean Scandinavian look, offset for a traditional metro feel, or combine it with the white brick in alternating rows. It also grades well into the atlantic, petrol and navy blues from the same range.

Glazed ceramic, for indoor walls only. It is light to handle, cuts cleanly and needs only a wipe to keep clean. Because the shade is light the handmade variation is subtle, showing more as a change in sheen than in colour, but mixing boxes still gives the most even wall.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.25 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a standard ready-mixed wall adhesive on a flat, dry wall and comb it with a fine notched trowel. Keep a 2 to 3mm joint and choose a white or very pale grey grout to keep the wall soft. Set out from the centre, mix tiles from several boxes and wipe grout haze off the gloss.
