Watch Hill Emerald Gloss Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 147x147mm (Per Box of 44 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 44 tiles per box, covering around 0.97m². Each 147x147mm tile is 0.022m², so a box works out at roughly £67.42 per m² (£1.49 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A small 147x147mm square in a deep emerald green with a gloss glaze. The colour is rich and saturated, and the gloss gives it depth and a watery reflection. It suits a feature wall, a shower niche or a splashback where you want strong colour.

Forty-four tiles come in a box, covering 0.97m². The small square lays in a plain grid or a diagonal, and the number of joints gives the wall a hand-laid rhythm. The manufacturer lists it for walls and floors.

Porcelain, so it is dense and hard-wearing enough for floors as well as walls. The manufacturer describes the range as evoking water, landscapes and sky. The gloss glaze wipes clean easily, and the small square works well around a basin or in a niche.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.97 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Set out carefully, as any drift in the joints shows on a 147mm module. Use a flexible porcelain adhesive with a fine notched trowel on walls and a full bed on floors. A 2-3mm joint with a white grout makes the green pop; a dark green grout gives a quieter, more continuous look. Wash the gloss face as you grout.
