Sold by the box – 36 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 100x300mm tile is 0.03m², so a box works out at roughly £35.00 per m² (£1.05 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A soft tan brown ceramic wall tile with a high-gloss glaze, Westport Light Brown Gloss catches the light and gives a warm, caramel look on the wall. The 100x300mm brick is slim and linear, and the plain colour has no pattern or variation.

It is the gloss partner to the matt light brown and sits between the beige and the dark brown in the range, so the four warm tones can be banded together on one wall. Thirty-six tiles to a box cover 1.08m². Lay horizontally, stacked or on end.

The tile is ceramic and for interior walls only; it is not for floors. Use it in bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchens, hallways and living rooms. The glossy face is easy to wipe down and suits splashbacks behind a hob or basin.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a standard wall tile adhesive on a flat, dry wall, combed with a 6mm notch, and keep 2-3mm joints. A brown or beige grout gives a soft finish. Wall-only tile. Gloss glazes highlight an uneven wall, so make sure the surface is flat before tiling.
