Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.05m². Each 350x1000mm tile is 0.35m², so a box works out at roughly £53.81 per m² (£18.83 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A metre-long plank for walls. This 350x1000mm rectified ceramic carries the Whidbey grey stone print, digitally applied and finished matt, so a wall covered in it looks like large slabs of honed grey stone. The colour is a mid grey that works with both warm and cool schemes.

The plank format covers a wall fast and gives a modern, low-joint look, especially laid horizontally in a staggered bond. Rectified edges allow a slim joint. It is a wall tile only; the matching floor is the grey 592x592mm porcelain, and the grey structured decor adds texture.

Ceramic is lighter and easier to cut than porcelain at this size, which helps when a plank has to go around a window or behind a basin. The matt surface does not show water marks. Three tiles per box, covering 1.05 square metres.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.05 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Interior walls only. Make sure the wall is flat; a 1000mm tile will rock on any hump. Use a flexible wall adhesive, comb the wall and back-butter the tile. Set out from a level line, use a 2mm joint with levelling clips, and a mid grey grout. Cut with a wet saw or a long-bed manual cutter.
