Wilmington Cream Plain Matt Porcelain Mosaic Wall & Floor Tile 300x300mm (Per Box of 12 Sheets)

Sold by the box – 12 sheets per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 300x300mm sheet is 0.09m², so a box works out at roughly £164.63 per m² (£14.82 a sheet). We only supply full boxes.

A warm cream mosaic made up of 35x35mm porcelain chips on a 300x300mm mesh-backed sheet. The matt surface and small format give a soft, grid-like texture that suits a shower floor, a niche or a border running through larger cream tiles.

Each sheet covers 0.09m² and a box of twelve covers 1.08m². Because the sheets are mesh mounted they can be cut between the chips to follow a fall to a drain, or trimmed to fit a shelf or recess. The chips match the cream tiles elsewhere in the range.

The chips are full-bodied porcelain with a rectified edge, so the colour runs through the body. The manufacturer lists the mosaic for walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas, and for commercial as well as residential use.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Spread a flexible porcelain adhesive with a fine notched trowel and press the sheet in with a grout float so every chip is bedded. Keep the joints between sheets the same as the joints between chips. On a shower floor cut sheets along the mesh to follow the falls. Grout in small areas and wash off before it hazes.

This mosaic is part of the Wilmington collection, a plain full-bodied porcelain in nine colours from snow to black. The main tiles come in 300x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm, in natural matt, polished and anti-slip, so the mosaic can match the surrounding floor or wall. See every Wilmington tile.
