Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £46.02 per m² (£16.57 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Dove grey in a natural matt finish on a 600x600mm square. It is a pale grey with a hint of warmth that keeps a room light without looking cold, and the matt surface stays calm under spotlights. A good floor for a family bathroom.

Three tiles to the box, covering 1.08m². The square lays in a plain grid and the rectified edge keeps the joints to 2-3mm. Match it with the dove 300x600mm on the walls. The pale matt face hides water marks and does not need polishing.

Full-bodied porcelain stoneware, so the colour is consistent through the tile. The manufacturer lists it for walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas, in residential and commercial spaces. Dove suits both traditional and modern schemes because it reads as neither warm nor cold.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible porcelain adhesive with a full bed on a flat base. Grout at 2-3mm with a light grey grout and sponge the matt face clean before the grout dries. Mix tiles from different boxes and dry-lay a row to check the cuts around the room.
