Sold by the box – 5 tiles per box, covering around 0.90m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £52.33 per m² (£9.42 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Dove is a soft, slightly warm light grey with a polished surface. It brightens a bathroom without the starkness of white, and the sheen adds a gentle reflection. It suits traditional and modern schemes alike.

In a 300x600mm format this tile covers walls quickly and lays neatly around windows and fittings. A box contains five tiles and covers 0.9m². Pair it with the dove 600x600mm on the floor for a matched scheme.

Made from full-bodied porcelain stoneware with a rectified edge, it is rated for walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas. The manufacturer also lists the range for commercial settings. The polished face is easy to wipe down, and the pale colour does not show limescale as readily as black.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.90 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Set out from the centre of the main wall so cuts are even at both ends. Use a flexible cementitious adhesive for porcelain, back-buttering on floors for full contact. Rectified edges take a 2-3mm joint. A light grey grout close to the tile colour hides the joints; wash grout off before it dulls the polish.
