Wilmington Dove Plain Polished Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 600x600mm (Per Box of 3 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £52.22 per m² (£18.80 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Dove grey with a polished finish on a 600x600mm square. The pale, slightly warm grey brightens a room and the sheen adds a gentle reflection. It suits a bathroom floor paired with the dove 300x600mm on the walls.

A box of three covers 1.08m². In a square room the large format needs few cuts, and the rectified edge keeps joints to 2-3mm. A light grey grout makes the joints all but vanish. In a long room, run the grid square to the main wall rather than the doorway.

Made from full-bodied porcelain stoneware with the dove colour running through. The manufacturer rates it for walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas, and for commercial as well as home use.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible porcelain adhesive on a full solid bed, with a levelling system to keep the polished surface flush. Grout at 2-3mm with a light grey grout and sponge off promptly to avoid haze. Protect the face from grit and tools during fitting.
