Sold by the box – 5 tiles per box, covering around 0.90m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £46.00 per m² (£8.28 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

On a kitchen floor this silver grey matt gives a light, cool base that stays looking clean. The natural finish does not reflect, so the colour is the same under daylight and spotlights. It suits grey, white and timber kitchen units.

The 300x600mm size is easy to handle and cut. Five tiles per box give 0.9m² of coverage. On a floor a brick bond is the usual choice; on a wall it can be stacked or staggered. The rectified edge allows tight joints.

Full-bodied porcelain stoneware with the silver colour throughout. The manufacturer rates it for walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas, from homes to commercial fit-outs. Silver in matt is the easier of the two silver finishes to keep looking clean on a busy floor.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.90 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible porcelain adhesive on a solid bed. Grout at 2-3mm with a light grey grout to suit the rectified edge. On floors, check the base is flat and sound and back-butter each tile. Mix from several boxes and wipe adhesive off the face before it cures.
