Wilmington White Plain Polished Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 300x600mm (Per Box of 5 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 5 tiles per box, covering around 0.90m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £52.33 per m² (£9.42 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A soft white, warmer and gentler than the bright snow shade, with a polished face. The sheen makes small bathrooms feel larger and keeps the white from looking flat. It pairs with any colour of sanitaryware and brassware.

At 300x600mm a box of five tiles covers 0.9m². The format suits bathroom walls in a horizontal brick bond and works on floors in a straight stack. Narrow joints from the rectified edge keep the surface clean and continuous.

Full-bodied porcelain stoneware, so cut edges stay white. The manufacturer rates it for walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas, and for commercial projects as well as homes. The polished surface wipes clean easily and the pale colour does not show water spots the way a dark tile does.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.90 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a white flexible porcelain adhesive on walls so it does not show through at the joints, and a solid bed on floors. Keep joints at 2-3mm with a white grout. Wash the polished surface frequently as you grout so no haze is left. Check the wall is flat before fitting a 600mm tile.
