Kartell K-VIT Bath Overflow Filler – Chrome (WAS101)

A bath overflow filler fills the bath through the overflow rather than from a tap on the rim. The water comes in at the end of the bath through what looks like a large overflow cover.

When you need one

This is the answer for a bath with no tap holes: a freestanding bath, a bath with wall-mounted or floor-standing taps, or any installation where you want nothing sitting on the rim.

It is also the tidiest way to fill a bath, full stop — nothing to clean around, nothing to knock, and the whole rim left clear.

This is the filler and waste only. It has no control valve of its own, so you need a separate valve — usually a concealed wall valve or a deck-mounted one — to turn the water on and off.

Which of the two you need

Choose this one where you are already fitting a valve, or want the control somewhere other than the bath end — on the wall, for instance.

If you would rather have everything in one fitting, the combined version has the valve built in. It costs more, but there is nothing else to buy or site.

Do not order this expecting it to work on its own. Without a valve there is nothing to turn the water on.

Before you order

This wants planning before the bath goes in. The supply pipework runs to the overflow end of the bath, and the valve position has to be decided at the same time.

Finish and looking after it

Polished chrome needs nothing more than a wipe with a soft damp cloth. Keep abrasive cleaners and strong limescale removers away from it — both cut through the plating.

Guarantee

Kartell give the wastes a lifetime guarantee, as shown on the 2026 brochure.
