Kartell K-VIT Kolt Fixed Head and Arm – Brushed Nickel (SHO335KBN)

The Kartell K-VIT Kolt shower range matches the Kolt brassware. This is the fixed shower head and wall arm in brushed nickel.

What it is

An overhead drencher head on a 400mm wall-mounted arm, giving rainfall-style coverage from above. It's the outlet, not the control — you need a shower valve to feed it.

Pair it with the Kolt single outlet valve if the drencher is all you want, or the twin outlet valve if you also want a handset on a slide rail.

Worth knowing before you buy

Despite the metal finish, this head and arm are 304 stainless steel and ABS rather than solid brass — the Kolt valves it pairs with are brass. That's normal for drencher heads: stainless keeps the face slim and rust-free, and ABS keeps weight down on a 400mm arm.

It carries a 1 year guarantee where the valves get 3 years.

Positioning

Wall-mounted rather than ceiling-mounted, and the arm projects 400mm, so it needs a solid fixing. A drencher head wants to be roughly over the middle of the enclosure, not tight to the back wall.

Overhead drenchers want reasonable pressure to feel good. On a gravity-fed system a rainfall head can feel like a drizzle; if that's your setup, a handset gives a better shower.

Why brushed nickel

A softer, warmer grey than chrome without the mirror shine. The brushed surface hides water marks and limescale better than polished chrome — useful on a shower head, which is permanently in the firing line.

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid abrasives and limescale remover.
