Kartell K-VIT Nero L Shaped Bath Screen for Elite Baths – Matt Black (NER-LS)

An L-shaped bath has a wider showering end, and it needs a screen shaped to match — a straight screen leaves a gap where the bath steps out. This is the Kartell K-VIT Nero screen made for the Elite L-shaped bath: 6mm toughened glass in a matt black frame, with concealed fixings.

Check your bath first

This is the single thing to get right. The screen is shaped for Kartell's Elite L-shaped bath and adjusts between 780mm and 820mm (plus or minus 10mm). It is not a universal L-shaped screen — other L-baths have different step positions and radii, and the screen won't sit right on them.

If you have a Tetris L-shaped bath, you need the Tetris version, which is chrome only.

Why black

Against a white bath the black frame reads as a deliberate outline rather than trying to disappear the way chrome does, and it ties in with black taps and shower valves. The honest trade-off is that matt black shows limescale and water spots more readily, so the frame wants an occasional wipe.

Concealed fixings

The wall bracket and fixings sit within the profile rather than proud with visible screw caps — a small detail that matters more on a black frame, where bright fixings would stand out.
