Kartell K-VIT Ottone L-Shaped Bath Screen 1400 x 820–845mm – Brushed Brass (BRASS-LS)
The Ottone L-shaped screen is made for L-shaped shower baths – the ones with a wider squared-off showering end. It is a hinged panel with a fixed return, in 6mm toughened glass with a brushed brass profile, standing 1400mm tall.
This is not a straight bath screen
An L-shaped shower bath is wider at the showering end than along the bathing section, and a straight screen leaves that extra width unprotected. This screen is built to suit that shape, with the return panel covering the step. It will not suit a standard rectangular bath – for that you want the square Ottone screen instead.
The width adjusts between 820 and 845mm, which takes up the small out-of-true you get in almost any tiled wall.

Before you order
- Check your bath is L-shaped. This screen suits the stepped showering end of an L-shaped bath, not a straight one.
- Check what is behind the tiles. The screen fixes to the wall and needs something solid to fix into – worth planning before the tiling goes on rather than after.
- Leave room for it to swing. The hinged section opens out into the room, so check nothing is in its arc.
- Match the brass. Brushed brass varies between manufacturers – if your taps are from another range it is worth seeing the two together before committing.
Fitting tips
Fit the bath and let the silicone seal along the walls cure fully before hanging the screen. Use the adjustment in the wall profile to get the glass truly vertical rather than parallel to a wall that is not – that is what the 25mm of movement is there for. Seal along the bottom where the screen meets the bath rim, leaving the vertical wall joint until last.
