Kartell K-VIT Ottone Bath Shower Mixer – Brushed Brass (TAP420OT)

The Kartell K-VIT Ottone range is brushed brass brassware with a clean circular design — the warm metallic finish that has largely replaced chrome at the higher end. This is the bath shower mixer: a deck-mounted bath tap with twin lever handles, an integrated diverter and a shower handset on a flexible hose.

What it does

It fills the bath like a normal bath filler, and the diverter sends water to the handset instead — so you can shower over the bath, or rinse hair and clean the bath itself without a separate shower installation.

If you already have a separate shower and only need to fill the bath, the Ottone bath filler costs less and looks tidier without the hose.

Before you order

Bath taps use 3/4" BSP connections, larger than the 1/2" on basin taps, so check your existing tails before ordering.

The waste is sold separately — and on a finish like this you'll want a matching brushed brass one rather than a chrome default.

Suitable for low pressure systems. Worth knowing that on gravity-fed plumbing the shower handset will be a gentle spray rather than a powerful one — that's your water pressure, not the tap.

Living with brushed brass

Brushed brass is softer and less reflective than polished brass, and it doesn't date the way shiny gold does. It works best where the rest of the room follows suit — brass taps, shower valve, towel rail and waste — rather than as a single brass item in an otherwise chrome bathroom.
