Kartell K-VIT Ottone Wall Mounted Bath Spout – Brushed Brass (TAP426OT)

The Kartell K-VIT Ottone range is brushed brass brassware with a clean circular design. This is the wall mounted bath spout — a plain outlet that fixes to the wall above the bath and delivers water into it.

It's a spout, not a tap

Worth being clear: this has no handles and no valve. It's the outlet only. The water is controlled elsewhere — normally by a concealed thermostatic or manual shower valve set into the wall, which feeds the spout and often a shower head as well.

If you want a wall-mounted tap you can turn on and off at the bath, this isn't it. You need a spout plus a valve, and they're bought separately. Make sure the valve you choose is also brushed brass, or the two won't match.

Before you order

The pipework runs inside the wall, so the position and height need fixing before boarding and tiling. Set it high enough to clear the bath rim comfortably and far enough in that water lands well inside the bath — a spout set too close to the edge will run down the outside.

At 214mm long it projects a fair way from the wall, which helps land water centrally. A stud wall needs noggins to fix into; a solid wall needs chasing.

The waste is sold separately.

Living with brushed brass

Brushed brass is softer and less reflective than polished brass, and it doesn't date the way shiny gold does. It works best as part of a coordinated scheme — Kartell make matching Ottone bath screens, wetroom screens and wastes.

Matching the rest of the room

The identical design is made in polished chrome as the Kore range and matt black as Nero Round. Pair it with the Ottone wall mounted basin mixer for a consistent look across basin and bath.
