The Pressalit PLUS handrail and shower rail combination is an inverted-T rail: a 1000 mm horizontal grab rail joined to a 1090 mm vertical rail. The horizontal rail gives a secure hand-hold in the shower, and the vertical rail provides standing support and doubles as a riser for the PLUS shower head holder – combining a grab rail and shower rail in one neat fitting for accessible bathrooms, Changing Places toilets, care homes and hospitals.

Buying guide

Is this the right rail? Choose this combination for a shower on a single wall. If the shower is in a corner, the PLUS corner shower handrail combinations (RT136, RT138, RT156) give support on both walls.

Which colour? Choose a colour that contrasts with the wall tiles so the rail is easy to see – Red or Dark Blue on light tiles, White on darker finishes.

Are the wall fixings included?

No – Pressalit supplies the mounting kit separately so the fixings can be matched to your wall (brick, concrete, plasterboard and so on). Call us on 0333 772 4162 and we will help you choose.

Is a shower head included?

No. The vertical rail is designed to take the PLUS shower head holder (RT600); shower heads and the holder are sold separately.

How should the rail be cleaned?

Use hot water or a mild soapy cleaner and wipe with a soft cloth wrung out in clean water. Avoid chlorine-based, corrosive or abrasive cleaners.
